My Movie Classics

A compendium of movies (mostly very old, usually foreign), that I consider my all-time favorites. These are movies that have survived the test of time and are still in my mind's eye in the year 2005 (and I am 64 years old). Many of these movies date back 50 years or more. They were and are very special to me.

A short list of “my favorite movies” includes:

1. The Wizard of Oz
2. African Queen
3. Being There
4. Mon Oncle
5. Little World of Don Camillo
6. Harold and Maude
7. The Seventh Seal
8. – Most (if not all) of Akira Kurosawa's films
