I was born in Brooklyn New York on April 27, 1940. Interested in bugs and animals, I always had a small menagerie - even in the family apartment. Later I became interested in music, electronics, and in radios. I built my first "Hi-Fi" set in 1955 and got an FCC license to operate an amateur ("ham") radio station in 1957. I also became interested in recreational bicycling and motor" scooters,'' and toured and widely from Pennsylvania to New England often as a trip leader for the American Youth Hostels organization. |
| I Attended James Madison high
school and graduated in 1957 from where I went to the
Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. After that I was hired
by Mt. Sinai hospital in New York as a research engineer
in the Department of Neurology. Later worked for Litton
Industries as a field engineer making calls around the
country and in 1970, on one such call I found an opening
at the Psychology Research Laboratory of Harvard Medical
School in Boston which I accepted. I worked there until
1975 when most of the staff of the laboratory, including
the director, moved to UCLA in Westwood California. I
consulted there for six months but returned to Harvard
where I and an associate tried to continue at the old
facility. Proving too difficult without the funding
previously available, we quit, and I went to work as a
field engineer for an X-ray company. During this time I met my future wife. We were married in July 1986. Desiring to be at home more, I sought a line of work not requiring travel and began my own business as a Technical Writer, making computer manuals for electronic firms. Subsequently my wife and I divorced, and I continued as a freelancer and contractor in documentation in the Boston area. ALSO SEE: MY OTHER WEBSITES AT

In June of 1998 I moved to
Concord California, to be near my nieces, Naomi and
Julie. In California I continue to pursue my work in
documentation while also enjoying some of my favorite
things (click for my "Aillusions.net" website).
