Mark was Born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn NY on August 2, 1942. He came down with Rheumatic Fever April 1948. Bedridden for three months and fully recovered. His activities, however, were restricted. He had a recurrence in the summer of 1954 when he was hospitalized in for six weeks. He fully recovered leading a normal life. Attended Lafayette H.S. and one year at Bernard Baruch CCNY. Completed next three years at Pace University, New York where he received his B.B.A. in Accounting. He then received his CPA Mark married Judy Frankel in 1965 and they have three children, Stephen (Steve), Barry, and Daniel (Dan). Mark worked in the New York City Government for more than twenty years, serving as Assistant Budget Director, Chief Accountant and Director of Audits for the City's Health and Hospitals Corporation. He is currently a partner in a small mid-town New York CPA firm which specializes in housing cooperatives and condominiums. He is also Treasurer of the National Association of Housing Cooperatives and the Council of New York Cooperatives and Condominiums. He is President of the Co-op building in Manhattan where he and Judy reside. After many years being a full time mother, Judy resumed her studies and graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College. She is currently employed as a budget manager for the New York City Human Resources Administration. She is also very active on the Community Concerns Committee of their synagogue, Congregation Rodeph Sholom. |

Steve graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York in 1984. He married Ibilese (Lisa) Rubera in October 1998 and they live in Manhattan. Steve is currently working as a computer consultant for an information technology company in Connecticut. Lisa is working on her bachelor's degree while working full time for a computer retailer. |

Barry graduated from Bronx H.S. of Science June 1986 and attended the University of Hartford. In June 1993, he married Stephanie Rubin and they live in the South Bay area near San Jose CA. Barry is a manager with Web-TV and Stephanie is the Director of Community Relations for the San Jose Jewish Community Council. |
