Estelle met Maurice (Morris) Spaiser who was born in Paris France. (Morris' parents, like Zaida and Bubba, migrated there - but from Poland - on their way to the U.S.A).
Estelle and Morris met at a "Club Francais" -- a French social club here in the US that they both attended. They were married on January 25, 1929. They lived in Bensonhurst Brooklyn where Annette and Leslie were born. Later they moved to a Co-op in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn and then to Fort Lauderdale Florida in 1971.
In April, 1980, Morris died after fighting pancreatic cancer for over a year and Estelle moved to an adult facility shortly thereafter. She died on December 13, 1993 of complications associated with liver failure.

Annette's Daughter by Bob Trupin, Naomi, married Steve Older when she was in her teens and after meeting him at auto mechanics school. She and Steve established and tried to operate their own service business but found it to difficult. Steve now is a master mechanic for Toyota automobile company. He is also an auto racing enthusiast and modifies and races stock cars in his spare time.
Steve and Naomi have two daughters Lauren Danielle Older born on March 15, 1994 and Colleen Gabrielle Older/Born February 20, 1998. They live in their home in Concord Ca., just outside of San Francisco.

Julie attended and graduated from the University of California with a bachelor's degree in nursing (1998), passed the Rn boards, and began her career as a Registered Rn at a Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco in November of 1998. Subsequently she applied for and was hired as a public health nurse for the city of Berkeley. (Updated: 1/6/03 by Leslie) |
