The Children of Anna And Solomon Schulman
Born in Paris on March 21, 1915, the day the first German Zeppelin flew over Paris in WW I. He was therefore nicknamed the little Zeppelin. Came to the U.S.A. in 1916 and joined Fetter Benny's family in the Bronx, N.Y. He grew up in Coney Island and Bensonhurst. Baseball and basketball were the sports he participated in. The great depression kept him from continuing higher education. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Moved to California and met Selma. They had three children, Jay, Sondra and Marilyn. After several years Al and Selma separated and divorced. Al remarried Harriet who remained with him until her death in the early 1980's. There were no children of that marriage.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y. He was mother's helper, very serious-minded. He married Evelyn Klein while in the U.S. Army service. He was stationed at Fort Monmouth's Radar installations and on the West Coast of Florida where Evelyn accompanied him. After the war they had two children. Carol and Bobby. Carol married Bob Pollack of Syosset, L.I. They have two children, Andrew and Alyce and Arron. Alyce married Steve Schmier in 2001.
Oscar, Evelyn and their son Bob reside in Del Ray, Florida. Carol and family live in Syosset.

Born August 2, 1921. He graduated from Brooklyn College and taught fifth and sixth grades in Brooklyn, N.Y. Served in the U.S. Army. Married Bea whose family escaped from Germany at the early signs of trouble in the early 1930's'. They had one daughter, Susan, who has a set of twins, 1978, Rachel and Leah, with her first husband. Erika, a daughter with her second husband, Born May 3, 1985. The entire family currently resides in Florida; Morris and Bea in Deerfield, Susan and her family, in Miami.
